When the sun is shining and the drinks are flowing, there’s no better way to celebrate summer than with a cowboy howdown—and that’s exactly what our gorgeous sail tent hosted this season.
Set in the rolling Lincolnshire countryside, this event brought together friends and family for a full-on boot-stomping, hat-tipping, laughter-filled day and night of fun. From the moment guests arrived, they were transported into a wild west wonderland. Think hay bales, denim, checked shirts, country tunes, and a dance floor that stayed full from the first beat to the final song.

Our sail tent provided the perfect backdrop—open sides to let the sunshine and fresh air roll in, rustic timber poles to match the western vibe, and plenty of space for eating, dancing, and mingling. It was dressed with festoon lights, vintage bunting, and simple country-style florals to keep the feel relaxed, earthy, and authentic.

Picnic tables and hay bales created a laid-back, communal atmosphere where everyone felt right at home.
The beauty of this event was how it captured the essence of summer: easy going, joyful, and filled with the kind of moments that turn into memories.

Whether it was kids playing in the grass, adults line dancing in cowboy boots, or the sound of laughter drifting across the field at sunset—this cowboy hoedown had it all.
It’s exactly the kind of celebration Vows and Venues loves to be part of. Fun, free-spirited, and full of heart.
Yeehaw to that!
